Sealed Bids for the construction of the Asphalt Overlay and Striping East Half Mile Street will be received by the Mayor and Board of Selectmen of the City of West Point, at the offices of City Hall located at 580 Commerce Street, P.O. Box 1117, West Point, MS 39773 until March 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing Asphalt Overlay and Striping East Half Mile Street.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive and/or deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Neel-Schaffer, Inc.; 7085 Highway 45 North Alternate; P.O. Drawer 1078; West Point, MS 39773. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays during regular business hours and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bid documents are being made available electronically and via original paper copy (if requested). Plan holders are required to register for an account at www.neel-schafferplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Electronic bids shall be submitted through www.neel-schafferplans.com. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
